Join Us For Ghedee Silent Retreat 2009
Join us for our annual Introspective Silent Meditation Retreat, in the tradition of Ghedee priests.
Due to the intense nature of their work with people, Ghedee Priests go into self-imposed seclusion once a year, at a distant location. The objective of this retreat is to minimize all distractions, to disconnect from regular routine, and to focus within. For the duration of the retreat, they do not speak. Through a process of specific meditatative and energetic exercises and introspection, the only voice heard is their true voice. This process allows for the full rejuvenation of the Emotional, Mental, and Physical bodies.
This ancient tradition, needed more than ever in our hectic modern world, is now available to the public.
Temple's Ghedee Introspective Silent Meditation Retreat, will be held at the Stanford Alpine Chalet, in North Lake Tahoe, CA from Sunday October 18, 2009 - Monday October 26, 2009.
